My Babies

Its time to go ride on the 4-wheeler so I had to put their hoodies and Ziggy's glasses on.. He gets sand in his eyes otherwise.. He will be set for the season.. Not to say that he will like them but really they don't seem to bother him.. I'm not sure anything bothers him.. They are my kids so yes they are treated like humans.. I know some call me crazy, but I don't care what they think...

Spring!!

Spring has FINALLY arrived.. FINALLY!! It has been a long week.. Still nothing on my biopsies.. I was sent home on IV meds.. I go back to clinic on the 30th.. So I will have done a total of 10 days on home IV's.. I fully have my appetite back that I had lost for a while.. I have gained a little weight so that is good.. I still have lots to go.. I will do it with all this eating I am doing.. Seriously I'm in love with food again.. I don't have heartburn so far since I have been out of the hospital.. I didn't have it when I was in either..

I did have a good Friday.. I got to see my buddy Will.. We were in the hospital at the same time.. He came in with pneumonia.. He was real sick.. However he made a quick turn around.. Leave it up to Will he will be the one to move mountains.. He is an inspiration to all of us..

What next

Its Wednesday and still no results.. They want to do another biopsy.. Dr. Cahill wants to do everything to keep me out of the OR.. I also want to do everything to keep me out of the OR.. I at least have a view out my room window.. The air sucks though.. So not much to look at other than crappy air..
My buddy Will is also in the hospital.. Teri and Angel came to visit yesterday.. Than later Tom came and brought me dinner.. It was tasty.. Thanks for doing that you are all so wonderful.. I hope all goes well with Will.. He is strong he will pull through this..

2 months later

So it has been 2 months since i last wrote in my blog.. I thought I would let everyone know what is going on.. I have been having trouble with heartburn lately.. So we started some meds that are called prevPac.. There is 3 different meds in the pack.. I took them for 14 days and my heartburn was better.. I was still tired and was sleeping alot and I was starting to have low grade temps.. I was nauseous and it was hard to eat.. I lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks.. That was not good, not good at all.. So I came in to clinic on Wednesday for my monthly check.. I took an xray and it looked fine.. My Pft's are up to 74%.. When Dr Cahill came in and took a listen to me she could hear something that sounded like pneumonia.. So they sent me over to get a CT scan.. Well it came back showing that i had a large mass in the middle of my chest, between my lungs.. I was admitted right away..

Thursday we did a bronch over at the Huntsman.. They have a system over there that has a ultra sound hooked to the bronch scope. They got some good samples..

Friday We did a bone marrow biopsy to see if there was any lymphoma traces.. It all came back clear..

Saturday was just some down time while we waited..

Sunday we got the pic line in, after several attempts of trying to use a regular iv line..

Its now Monday night and we did an endoscopy to get some more tissue samples.. So for now we are just waiting for the results to come back..
