Hey Everyone!
Come down to Famous Dave’s in West Jordan to support The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Channel 2 will be holding their survivor casting auditions and ribs are only a dollar from noon to 4 p.m. All proceeds go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation so come down get some grub and watch the wacky auditions. Also, watch channel 2 from 6 to 8 a.m. where Matt Meese will be the spokesperson for CF!

Rough Night

So I did not have such a great night.. to start things off my night feeds made my blood sugar spike to an un readable number.. So every hour all night they had to come in and re check blood and of coarse i would need insulin.. My legs were real achy and i just could not get comfortable, i was tossing and turning all night till i finally just quit trying this morning about 7.. I had a fever as well.. My white blood cell count was real high so all this is due to catching a virus somewhere.. I have been up all this time and HOPEFULLY I will be able to sleep tonight..

Day One..

So they decided after all that I need to stay for the 2 weeks.. I did some breathing tests today and they were a bit worse than yesterday so that is a sign of something starting in these lungs.. I do feel a bit worse then yesterday too.. So I think that it is a good thing that they have decided this.. I don't want to get bad bad bad.. So as for now we are on the road to a recovery.. Hopefully one that will lead to my new lungs!!

In Hospital..

I came into the hospital today due to coughing up blood again.. I packed for the usual two weeks, but when I got here they said they were only wanting to keep me in for 48 hours to watch for more blood.. If there is no more than I get to go home.. This is Weird to come in and only have to stay 2 days.. I have never in my life been admitted for less then 2 weeks.. They don't even have an IV started.. I was sorta thinking why cant I watch for this at home.. So for now I guess I will have to wait and see if anything else comes aboard..

Red Air Day..

This crappy air is catching up to me.. As well as all of my CF friends.. We all are on house arrest.. I spent the whole day in the house.. To be honest I slept most of the day.. I have my Hepa Air Filter on high to keep the air in my room as clean as possible..
Sunday is supposed to be green air day.. So Hopefully I can go outside for a little while.. My Dad and Grams is coming down for the day.. I have been craving the Training Table restaurant so I think we will go there for a bit to eat.. I must have their Famous Cheese Fries.. Yummy!!
It has been 5 months since I have been placed on the transplant list, so I am half way to the average point.. So you all know what that means my lungs are getting closer to getting here every day.. YEAH!!!!

Weekend With My Sister **Brook**

My sister came down this weekend to stay a few days with me.. Its nice to have her company in the house.. She went up to my pulmonary rehab with me today and then we came home and ate some lunch.. We were going to go and do some more things in town but it got to late and the next think we knew it was dinner time.. So we pigged out on some good food.. Then we thought we needed to go to Baskin Robins for dessert.. YUMMY!!!

Tomorrow we are going to go to Build-a-Bear to get her doggy some new shoes.. (Some girl broke the other pair she had)
And I think we are going to go find a dog park..

Everything is still going good and we are going to keep it that way for a while.. Right!!!

Half Way to Friday!!

The week is half over.. Yeah!! I still need to get my Dad something for fathers day.. Man that came upon me fast.. I always seem to get things last minute.. Oh well that's just how life is sometimes.. The more spontaneous the more excitement.. Right??

Ziggy got a bath and a haircut today.. He was not happy with me for a couple hours after.. But then he forgets that he is mad and wants to sit on my lap and have me to himself.. Silly dogs.. I had to even wash his collar it was real dirty after being up at the farm for a month.. Now it is back to its bright green color.. I will have to get a pic on here tomorrow of my handsome boy.. He still thinks he is tough and will growl at a twig in the way but he makes me smile and that's what matters to me.. LOL he is sleeping next to me and he is having a dream.. His lip is just a twitching away.. Its so funny when dogs dream..

Tomorrow I am meeting up with my mom and getting my something to drive while my car is being fixed.. I really miss my car.. Its kinds weird cause I really don't like to drive all that much, probably cause I am in the city now and my car is a standard.. Man what a pain that is on the freeway in CONSTRUCTION.. Go..Stop..Go..Stop...Okay that is enough workout for me.. How about you??

A Week Out And Still Going Strong!!

I have been out of the hospital for a week and I still feel good.. That is a change for me, I usually feel like crap with in the first couple of days I get home.. I had a good weekend we had a BBQ and our friends showed up and after we ate we played American Idol.. Its a fun thing to play with a group even if you don't sing good and don't know the words it is still a good time.. My bestest friend Sarah even got to come.It was great to see her and actually sit down and talk to her face to face.. Its been way to long since we have been able to do that..
My Dad and Grams got to come down on Sunday so that was fun.. They brought my lil boy Ziggy down with them, so now he is back with me.. Yeah!!
Well tomorrow is pulmonary rehab so I am heading to bed to get my rest so I can have a good day tomorrow.. Hope you all have a good day!!

Rainy Day

I have been home for a day and I still feel good.. It has been a rainy day so it made me tired cause it looked all cold out.. I was just hoping to come home to some sunny weather.. O well it will be great this weekend..
I hope my car gets fixed by the weekend.. The whole brake system went out and caused a few more problems that i did not need at the moment.. But what can you do?? Just take care of it the best you can..
Hope you all don't get to sick of the chilly days, cause warm is right on the way again.. HOORRRAAYYYY!!!!!

***On My Way Home***

I am in the clear to go home!! Yea!! It is going to feel nice to be home after a month.. I am going to go home and play with the pups and eat good food.. Eat that food till I cant eat another bite.. Chad will be getting off in 30 min and he will be up to get me.. I'm sure this time I will stay out more than 24 hours..

Today could be the day!!

So I am awake and ready to do my PFT"S.. I will be doing them at 9:00.. Last night went well so I think I am in the positive side of going home.. Yea!! This time I know I am ready to go and be out for a few weeks.. New lungs is what i need to happen.. But like I said before I am willing to wait till Dr. Cahill gets back from Israel..
I will let you know later if i get to break parole and have a life outside of the joint..

After 4 weeks with the 24 hour break that I had they finally said I may get to go home tomorrow.. HHMM that sounds good to me.. Ha ha just in time for the crappy weather we are going to have.. But then they said its going to warm right up.. just in time for the BBQ weekend..
And my family will come down this weekend to bring my lil boy back down.. So we will see what they say on me going home tomorrow.. I hope that it is good news.. Well I'm off to bed so the next time i wright i will be telling you I AM HOME!! Lets hope anyway..

June Has Arrived!!

Today was such a nice day for weather.. The sun was out and it was a bright day all around.. I even got out and got some Vit D.. Much needed..

I woke up to this loud knock at my door, while I was sleeping I rolled over to see who it was this time.. OMG OMG it was Jake.. He came down to surprise me.. And he did do a very good job at his surprise cause I had not a clue he was coming down.. Brightened the hell out of my day I tell you!! I was in the best mood I have been in for days.. Thanks Honey!! That's it, you must come more to see your Princess..
I just ended the day chilling watching TV and talking on the phone to family..
