Hello friends it's me Tanya.. Yes I am finally writing in my own blog again.. Man I have really made progress once I got the vent extabated.. I have been walking laps around the unit, without stopping or being short of breath.. I'm still sore so I cant take a true deep breath yet.. I kinda feel top heavy with these lungs from a 6 foot man..
Sorry this has been a delay at getting this posted. I went to post it and the connection that I had booted me off so I lost all the work that I did.. . I t made me mad so I just shut the computer and went on dong what ever I was doing I don't remember.. LOL I don't remember alot..
Well I have got rid of all my tubes except for my pic line in my arm and my feeding tube.. My feeding tube will be coming out sometime today.. I am even off my O2 and I am dong just fine.. My O2 reading is 94 on room air.. Damn how long has it been since my old lungs were that healthy.. HHMMM a Very LONG time ago..
I am able to do most things by myself now.. I have a hard time bending over though so it will take some time for that to come back.. I have taken 2 showers and they feel so good.. I cant wait to go home and take a real shower.. AAWWW!!
I had a bronchoscopy the other day and I actually watched it.. They are so cool to look at, it is very fascinating.. Dr Cahill explained everything we were looking at.. She is so good to her patients.. She has been there for every bronch that I have had.. I feel so safe having her as a Dr..
My dad and I drank a Pepsi.. My first Pepsi since I have been extabated (taken off vent) It tasted so good.. I toasted a prayer to my buddy Will.. I know that he likes Pepsi and would love to drink one right now.. Will has moved to a center up in Idaho.. He is much closer to his family and friends.. I know that this will do him good..
