Friday the 3rd she got rid of her vent tube. that day they cleaned her up and wanted her to just state in bed and breathe. Saturday she walked all around the nurses station. Made the loop. She did not get winded, did't have to stop at all. Sunday the put a pic in and removed the christmas tree as they call it.

Its a great day. Today they took out what they called the Christmas tree. That is a long 10 inch tube that has multiple ports they use to give medication. That tube is put into the neck and goes to the heart. Thank the Lord that's gone. Friday she was taken off the vent and since then she has really improved. Tanya received her first real food today and she can finally drink what ever she wants. She may be going home next week. Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts. Tanya will soon be writing to update her progress. This has been quite a journey.
